Complies with the Official Coding Guidelines in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding conventions to assign for diagnoses and procedure codes for Fred Hutch's outpatient facility services. Clinical judgment and high level analytical skills are utilized to code and abstract the legal medical record to support appropriate reimbursement. This position offers a combination of remote and on-site coding.
This role ensures timely, coordinated, and high-quality care delivery to patients in their homes. You will collaborate with Patient Care Managers to process referrals, manage daily scheduling tasks, and provide operational support for the Albuquerque Home Health and Hospice Agency.
